Krysia is in her element when asked to create a unique painting that will reflect the personality and style of her client for their individual space.
She has been commissioned to create customized works of art for her clients all over the world for dining rooms, living rooms, offices, bedrooms, foyers, and corporate spaces.
In order to keep all her work fresh, Krysia prefers to work on a number of different paintings during a certain time-frame. For portrait work she prefers to interview her subjects and then to use many different photos of her subject as reference material for expressions, which avoids long studio portrait sittings.
Krysia limits the number of portrait commissions that she takes on each year and usually takes orders many months ahead for the holiday season.
All her modern pieces are unframed and “gallery wrapped.” This is where Krysia carefully continues her painting around the wide edges on the top, bottom, and sides of the painting. This is an interesting effect as the painting appears to be wrapped around the entire wide frame that the canvas is stretched on.
Krysia imports high quality frames from a few different countries based on three different price points. This has been a way that she has been able to provide high quality frames that will work best with her art work and remain within an affordable price range for her clients.
If you are interested in commissioning an original painting by Krysia, she'd be happy to discuss this with you by phone or email:
