Krysia has painted her portrait commissions in a variety of forms including her unique “family stackable.” She has also been commissioned by women to paint unique and colorful representations of themselves as gifts for loved ones. She has created large simple portraits and sumptuous nudes with strategically placed fabrics and artistic license.
In order to keep all her work fresh, Krysia prefers to work on a number of different paintings during a certain time-frame. For portrait work she prefers to interview her subjects and then to use many different photos of her subject as reference material for expressions. This avoids long studio portrait sittings.
Krysia limits the number of portrait commissions that she takes on each year and usually takes orders many months ahead for the holiday season.
